The survey includes the names William Cunningham, Jonathan Poague, Rueben Grigsby, and Thomas McFarland, whose lands border the Willson property. The North Fork of the James River and Mill Creek are also mentioned in the survey.

Raymond J. Kirby collection
This collection consists of three scrapbooks and sets of photographs taken by Raymond J. Kirby. The scrapbooks contain photographs and newspaper clippings related to the flooding that occurred as a result of Hurricane Camille in August 1969. The photographs document damage from both Rockbridge and Nelson Counties and the City of Lexington. The collection also includes approximately 170 photographs of the construction of the Route 11 corridor bypass around Lexington, Virginia.

A receipt for the purchase of an enslaved African American girl named Charlotte who was sold by Samuel Mosby to David Anderson Jr. for $258 on June 16, 1828 in Hanover, Virginia. Joseph Mosby also signed the document as a witness.
